The Brand has also gained a reputation for building high-tech devices that are pocket-friendly across India.

Infinix Note 6 Review: Let’s see what’s so special about it.

Infinix has been surprising us with awesome devices and you cant expect to get less now.

As you know, Infinix Note 6 is an upgrade to the previous year  Note 5 and Note 5 Pro, which means a lot has been changed, making it more advanced, more spec-packed and more beautiful. So, let’s take a look at what we have here.

Design:

Infinix note 6 Review

Looking at the design, Infinix Note 6 comes in three colors variants (Midnight Black, Mocha Brown, Aqua Blue) among which I personally like the Aqua Blue color. But believe me, the three colors are superb.

I like the improvements in the thickness of the device. In the previous Note version, we had a device with 8.4mm thick but this time around, Infinix reduced the thickness of Note 6 to 7.7mm making it flatter and I can say it is the most sleekest Device yet from the brand.

Infinix Note 6 also comes with an advanced x-pen to enable you to draw smoothly on the screen. What I also like about the pen on Note 6 is the way the brand design it to perfectly match with any color variant you chose to go after. In other words, blue-colored note 6 will come with blue colored x-pen. That’s really cool.

The 16mp front-facing camera is fitted at the top bezel left beside earpiece with the front LED flash by the right accompanied with censors.

At the back of Infinix note 6, you will find a vertical set of three camera lenses and a super bright dual-LED flash sitting beside the top of the top lens. The fingerprint scanner is located at the top center area of the device (back).

At the left edge of the smartphone, you will locate the Sim and SD card tray, while at the other side (right side) is the volume and power keys. Both the X pen, 3.5mm audio, microphone, speakers and micro-USB slot are located at the bottom base.

Display:

There has been a lot of improvements in the new Infinix smartphones, and note 6 not exceptional. Believe me when I say that infinix note 6 display is gorgeous.

At first, I thought they would just continue with the normal ISP display, but to my surprise, when I took a closer look, it was an AMOLED display! Wow. This is the same display technology used on Samsung devices.

Note 6 has a 6.01 FULL HD+ AMOLED DISPLAY, 1080*2160 Resolution and an Aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. To ensure a clearer and brighter visual satisfaction.

Camera:

Infinix Note 6 features a vertically aligned triple camera with an LED flash positioned next to the first lens. The first camera (main) shots 16MP at F/1.8 aperture that uses a 5p lens. The second camera is 8MP, ultra-wide camera that can take up to 120-degree picture, and uses a 6P lens. The third camera is 2MP for Depth photography.

On the front camera, the infinix note 6 has a 16MP camera just like the previous year’s Note 5 and note 5 pro. But this time, Note 6 is improved 3D face beauty an AR emoji to perfectly optimize your photography.

I took a series of pictures that I compared with my TECNO Camon X pro and believe me the result was almost the same.

Memory / Software:

Note 6 comes with a 4GB Ram and a 64GB Storage space which can be extended to 120GB. Even if you are a die-hard picture freak or you like taking videos, it’s going to be enough for you.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with a 2.3 GHz Ota-Core processor, and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. If you are a game freak like me, this device performs so well. I played GTA Vice City and it was as smooth.

You can choose to screen lock the screen with a pattern, PIN or Password, a fingerprint unlock, or a face unlock.

The device is powered by Android™ 9 Pie which provides us with an intelligent, efficient and customized experience.

Battery:

4000mAh isn’t enough, I was thinking it would be nice if infinix could improve more on battery. But it isn’t that bad. Infinix 4000mAh is exact! I spent a lot of time playing games and watching movies without plugging to a power source. and I noticed that the battery drains faster on heavy operations. ie. when playing heavy games, watching movies or recording videos.

But when on a stand by, with 4G network-enabled, the phone can stay up to three days without being plugged to a power source.
